What makes your practice different from other OB-GYN practices in New York City?

My practice is designed to be the opposite of traditional, high-volume healthcare. The focus is on building a meaningful, long-term relationship with each patient. Appointments are longer and more thoughtful, creating a calm, safe environment where you feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for — never like just another number.

Why is continuity of care important for women’s health?

Continuity fosters trust, mutual understanding, and better communication between patients and their physicians. If I am pregnant, will you be the one delivering my baby?

Yes. As a solo OB-GYN, I see you for all your prenatal visits and will be the one delivering your baby. This guarantees continuity of care and removes the uncertainty that can come with rotating physicians in a large group practice.

Appointments & Insurance

How soon can I get an appointment?

I limit the number of patients I see so appointments are never rushed and can be scheduled in a timely manner. In most cases, new patients are seen within one to two weeks, and urgent concerns are accommodated as quickly as possible.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first appointment is designed to give us the time to get to know each other and review your medical history in detail. We’ll discuss your current concerns, long-term health goals, and any previous experiences with care. A full examination will be performed if appropriate, and there will be plenty of time for questions so you leave feeling informed and confident about next steps.

Do you accept health insurance?

I operate outside the constraints of the traditional insurance model to provide a higher, more personalized standard of care. This allows for longer visits, direct accessibility, and a level of attention not possible within the typical framework. While I do not participate directly with insurance plans, my office will submit documentation to your insurance on your behalf as a courtesy for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Your insurance may still be used for services such as pap smears, blood tests, and outside imaging (mammograms, breast ultrasounds, etc.).

Can I come to your office just for an annual exam?

Absolutely. Even if you only visit once a year, returning to the same physician builds familiarity and trust, which can improve the quality of your care. Over time, this continuity allows us to spot subtle changes and address concerns early.

Menopause Treatment

What kind of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) do you prescribe?

I offer FDA-approved, evidence-based hormone replacement therapy tailored to each patient’s needs. Depending on your symptoms, medical history, and goals, this may include estrogen, progesterone, or a combination — in the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration. Both systemic options (patches, pills, gels) and local vaginal therapies are available when appropriate.

I may prescribe bioidentical hormones if they are FDA-regulated and approved. I do not recommend unregulated or compounded hormone treatments unless a specific clinical need cannot be met otherwise. All decisions are made through a thorough, collaborative discussion so you feel informed and confident in your care.
